Discussion and possible action regarding the renewal School Resource Officer (SRO) agreement between Norman Public Schools (NPS) and the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office. This agreement will provide SRO services for the 2026-2027 school year between July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. As compensation to the CCSO for the services, NPS agrees to pay CCSO $7,500 per deputy x 7 deputies x 12 months for an annual total of $630,000 for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, paid in monthly installments of $52,500.
